What are cookies?

- Persistent Cookies: the data remains stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the person responsible for the cookie, which can range from a few minutes to several years.
Depending on the purpose for which the data obtained is processed:
- Technical Cookies: those that allow the user to navigate through a website, platform or application and use the different options or services that exist therein, such as, for example, controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted access parts, using security elements during navigation, storing content for the dissemination of videos or sound, enabling dynamic content (for example, animation for loading a text or image) or sharing content through social networks.
- Cookie policy of preferences or customization: allow the user to access the service with some predefined general characteristics based on a series of criteria in the user's terminal, such as the language, the type of browser through which the user accesses the service, the regional configuration from where the user accesses the service, among others.
- Cookies analysis: They allow the person responsible to track and analyze the behavior of the users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of websites, applications or platforms and to create navigation profiles of users of said websites, applications and platforms in order to make improvements based on the analysis of data on the use of services provided by users.
- advertising cookies: They allow the management of advertising spaces in the most efficient way possible.
- Behavioral advertising cookies: They store information on user behaviour obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, which allows the development of a specific profile to display advertising based on it.
- External social network cookies: These are used to allow visitors to interact with the content of different social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and are generated only for users of said social networks. The conditions of use of these cookies and the information collected are regulated by the privacy policy of the corresponding social platform.
