What are energy surpluses?

Surplus energy is all the energy we generate but do not consume. Domestic photovoltaic generators generate electricity all the time they are receiving sufficient solar radiation for their operation, even if we do not consume it. Virtually no home with solar panels consumes all the energy it produces; it always ends up generating too much.

What happens to that remaining energy that we generate but do not consume?

SVAN SOLAR's residential photovoltaic generator will first use this surplus of electrical energy to charge the battery, thus having enough energy to cover the energy demand if the day were to be cloudy, and during the night. Once the battery is charged and the demand of the home is supplied, the surplus energy will be fed into the supply network, reducing the need to use thermal or nuclear power plants during the day, thus greatly reducing the carbon footprint not only of your home, but of your entire population.
